Description
Give a healthy and fresh start to your new year by kicking it off by running/walking a 5k! This course will start in front of First Christian Church of Canton, follow the border of Edgewood golf course, and then make a loop around the church, and it will finish in front of the church. The course is flat, and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall runners. There is no official timing system, but a running clock will be present at the finish line for you to view your time.
A kids race of 100 meters will also be offered. This race starts at 10:10 AM. It starts at the starting line of the 5k and finishes at the finish line for the 5k. More information about this can be viewed on the brochure link. Every child who competes will receive a medal.
The proceeds from this race will go towards First Christian Church's youth group mission trip fund for Haiti this upcoming summer.
