Universal Sole Valentines Trail Challenge

Trail running has always been in our USOLE DNA! We were the first running store in Chicago to bring trail racing to the Chicago running community. This will be a first for us here @ USOLE! We will do our first Valentines Trail Race! Come on out and bring your valentine with you! Hit the trails and let's enjoy winter together! You don’t need to be a trail veteran to come out and enjoy these great grass roots events! The USOLE Trail Challenge is great for people of all ages and all abilities looking to change up the running routine and get “off” the roads! Finally as is tradition, we will have Will’s World Famous Chili & Begyle Brewing Beer!

Event details and schedule

Trail Race Location:
February 11th, 2017 – The Valentines USOLE Trail Challenge will be held @ Schiller Woods Forest Preserve up near O’Hare airport! This course and race has been a long standing race since the beginning of Universal Sole! The distance for this race will be just over 4.5 miles!

Race Details:

• Register for the Valentines Trail Challenge and get the custom USOLE Valentines "Warm" Red Hoody Sweatshirt! (if you come to packet pickup @ USOLE, you are gauranteed to get one before race day!)
  
• Courses will be trail & off road with crushed limestone, dirt, rocks, & roots.
• Races will begin promptly @ 10am! Race day pickup & registration will begin @ 8:30am
• If you are registering day of the race, the entry is $40 and can be paid by cash or credit card only.
• Water and NUUN Hydration Drink at the Start/finish line.
• Clif Bars & Bananas will be at the finish.
• Will’s Famous Chili along with a Begyle brew will be given to all runners!
  
• Race day gear check will be at the Universal Sole Tents
• Parking Info: Plenty of parking in the forest preserve parking lots!

Awards:

• Top Overall Winner for Male & Female
• Age Group M&F Awards: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
• Post race raffle with great prizes from Universal Sole & all of our sponsors to be held at our post race party on-site!

Packet Pick-up: Packet pick-up will be available on race day. Pre-race packet pick-up will be held at Universal Sole in Chicago (3052 N. Lincoln Ave.) at the following times:
-Thursday, February 9th from 12pm-8pm
-Friday, February 10th from 12pm-7pm

Post Race Chili & Brews: Once the races are over, brews for everyone! Will Bridge will be out serving up his famous WILL’s Chili along with fine post run brews!
