Description

The Lakeland Area Kiwanis Club has a great new race called the Get Your Ks On run. This 1K/5K/10K run will be timed, challenging and fun. It will be held at the Minocqua Park Complex on Hwy 70W on Saturday, April 27^th. The cost is $25 and you can register online at www.tandhtiming.com. Registration the day of the event starts at noon and the race will start at 1PM. The first 200 entries will receive a t-shirt and a goody bag. This fun, family event will offer something for all ages. The 1K walk/run will have art stations where kids can build their K to show they got their K on. Kid sprints will start after the 5K runners get back. There will also be a variety of games that kids can play, as well as entertainment. The proceeds from this run will go to a Kiwanis Autism Project that will help kids in the Lakeland area. So mark your calendar, bring the family and get ready to Get Your Ks On!

Course Info

The 5K will start at the Minocqua Park Complex and head down Camp Pinemere Road to Hidden Harbor Resort and then turn and head back up Voss Road which will connect back to Camp Pinemere Road. Runners will head to the finish back at the park.

The 10K will start at the Minocqua Park Complex and start down Camp Pinemere Road. Runners will head down Sutton Road to a turnaround and then go back to Camp Pinemere Road. They will follow the road to Hidden Harbor Resort and then turn up Voss Road to head back to Camp Pinemere Road. Runners will then turn right and head up Hower Road to the loop by Patricia Lake. Runners will head back down Hower Road to Camp Pinemere Road and then go back to the park.
