About This Event
BE GREATand help us make a difference at the RACERS Superhero 5K. All kids need a hero, and Boys and Girls Club of Benton Harbor kids need you to be a superhero! Come dressed as your favorite superhero for the inaugural RACERS Superhero 5K and Kids' 1K Fun Run! Prizes will be awarded for best adult and best child costume. Enjoy a course along Riverview Drive in Benton Harbor. The course will be closed to traffic until 11:00 am, and will have one water station. Funds raised from this event will support programming and equipment needs of the Boys & Girls Club of Benton Harbor, including bleachers at the Fettig Clubhouse on Nate Wells Senior Drive.

 
ENTRY FEES
5K Run / Walk - Adults and Kids 14 and over: 
$20 through April 6 (Guarantees a short sleeve dri-fit shirt)
RACERS members receive an additional $5 discount for early registration with code
$25 April 7 through April 26, 2013* 
$30 Same Day Registration* 
*Short sleeve 50/50 t-shirt may be substituted for registration after April 6

5K Run / Walk - Kids 13 and Under:
$10 includes a short sleeve 50/50 t-shirt

Kids 1K Fun Run
Entry fee is $1 and all participants will receive a finishers ribbon

 
EVENT SCHEDULE
Same Day Registration and Packet Pickup: 7:30 am
Kids Fun Run: 8:30 am
5K Run and Walk: 9:00 am.

 
AWARDS
Special awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers in the run and walk.
5K Run - Medals will be given to the top three finishers in each age group.
5K Walk Medals will be given to the top 10 male and female finishers.
