Beech Mountain, NC  - The start will be near the Town Hall and Visitors Center or the Beech Mountain Ski Resort.

I am still working at setting up the course, but a good description would be challenging. 

Some technical rooty trail, some rocks, some grassy ski slopes. 

Plenty of vertical.
